One of my college friends sent me this picture, guess his mom saw it on the street in Maine and because he likes of cars, she took this picture and sent it to him, pretty cool if it's real.

Is this in Portland?

Worth a fair sum if that’s what it is, and there’s no reason why not.

Nope, some where in Maine.

I doubt it’s a fake, don’t think there’s much market for very old rare BMWs. Looks legit, good spot! My mom sends me weird cars all the time from her travels.

I don’t think I’d even heard of that car before, I was surprised how rare they are.

Fun fact: Portland, OR is named after Portland, ME.

Didn’t know that. Obviously, I was completely unaware of Portland ME.

It looks like the streets above the Old Port in Portland Maine.

Not sure if you were kidding or serious, wasn’t trying to be snarky.
Being from Maine, yet living 1000 miles south of there now, most people I know can’t find the state on a map, much less name one of the states (admittedly few) cities.

I was being serious and I took it as you weren’t trying to be snarky. I’d think when most people think of Portland they think of Portland OR, not Maine. I’m from GA and currently reside in TX, so I’m not familiar with ME cities.
